On March 10, 2025, Professor Rodríguez-Pinzón delivered a keynote lecture at the Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao, Spain, titled “The Trump Administration and the United States’ International Human Rights Agenda.” The event was part of the university’s Cycle of Conferences on Global Law, a platform that brings together experts to examine contemporary global legal challenges.

In addition to his keynote, Professor Rodríguez-Pinzón also taught a specialized course on “The Inter-American Human Rights System and the Rights of Indigenous Peoples” on March 10 and 11, 2025, at the University of Deusto Law School. The course was part of the European Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation (EMA), a prestigious postgraduate program coordinated by the Global Campus of Human Rights and supported by a consortium of leading European universities.

Through these academic contributions, Professor Rodríguez-Pinzón continues to play a vital role in promoting global dialogue on human rights and fostering collaboration between regional systems of protection.
