Bio
Jenice Sabb-Dumas holds an Ed.D. in Education, Culture, and Society from Rutgers University Graduate School of Education.  Jenice has labored 30+ years in higher education demonstrating leadership, instructional and administrative skills focused on student access to higher education, retention of low-income first-generation students, and enhancing classroom activities to support success in achieving learning outcomes. Dr. Sabb-Dumas’ teaching philosophy promotes community engagement, academic preparation, knowledge of the purpose of higher education, and engenders an atmosphere that encourages the free exchange of intellectually stimulating conversations. She believes educators must engage students in scholarly exchanges that evoke questioning to encourage critical thought and respect for diversity, creating a knowledgeable and compassionate public.

Outside of the Academy, Jenice is committed to family and supporting her community by leading education programming through her church and other community activities with her sorority – Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
